The episode starts with Mahadev requests Vidya to intercede on his behalf with Dheeraj, then attempts to depart.

Vidya detains him, remarking on the timing of his behavior and inquiring if he intends to ascertain Dheeraj’s condition. Mahadev asserts that Dheeraj’s injuries will be remedied by medication, not by his personal concern. He reminds Vidya that he previously cautioned Dheeraj to maintain distance from Rajji, and Dheeraj is now experiencing the repercussions of his disregard. He further states his intention to disengage from the welfare of others within the household, noting that Dheeraj is not the sole individual to sustain injuries, before exiting. Vidya becomes distressed and retreats indoors. Dheeraj appears profoundly affected.

In the evening, Dheeraj reflects on his past interactions with Mahadev, appearing distressed. Vidya approaches him, expressing remorse for compelling him into marriage with Rajji to safeguard her family’s honor, noting that they are now pursuing him. Dheeraj reassures Vidya that he harbors no concerns regarding potential harm from her family; however, he is deeply affected by his father’s disownment. Furthermore, he believes his relationship with Mahadev is beyond repair. Vidya assures Dheeraj of her commitment to preventing any adverse outcomes and resolves to reveal the truth to Mahadev. Dheeraj advises Vidya against disclosing the truth to Mahadev, anticipating that Mahadev would perceive her statements as an attempt to protect him, rendering such a disclosure futile. Vidya expresses her disappointment.

At the Bajpai residence, Vishwa expressed his strong disapproval of Dheeraj’s marriage to Rajji, stating his inability to remain passive. Bhanu intervened with a disciplinary action and a warning regarding potential repercussions, yet Vishwa maintained his anger and threatened Dheeraj’s life. Kiran attempted to de-escalate the situation by reminding Vishwa of Dheeraj’s familial connection as his brother-in-law. Vishwa dismissed her counsel. Yash then interceded, cautioning Vishwa to maintain appropriate boundaries, but Vishwa persisted in his defiant stance. Ketan confidently states his lack of fear towards Narmada, recounting an anecdote from their college days where Narmada pursued him, asserting that she is now apprehensive of him. Narmada subsequently arrives, overhears the conversation, and retorts with a taunt, resulting in general amusement.

Upon Rajji’s arrival to administer Dheeraj’s medication, Satya extended an invitation for her to join them and commended her courageous actions in transporting Dheeraj to the hospital. Ashish subsequently conveyed his appreciation to Rajji, who modestly dismissed the sentiment. A playful exchange between Rajji and Dheeraj prompted Ketan to inquire about their romantic history, an invitation enthusiastically supported by Ashish and Satya. When Dheeraj and Rajji provided conflicting accounts of their initial encounter, Narmada interceded with an alternative narrative, which, in turn, led to further questioning from Ketan, causing concern for Dheeraj, Rajji, and Narmada.

Our take: Dheeraj’s sacrifices for his family often go unnoticed by Mahadev, who doesn’t seem to grasp the reasons behind his actions. Hopefully, once the truth about Dheeraj and Rajji’s marriage is revealed, Mahadev will finally place his trust in Dheeraj. Perhaps Dheeraj and Rajji should devise a plausible explanation to appease their inquisitive family members.
