The episode starts with Narmada fabricates a narrative, attributing it to Rajji, regarding a romantic relationship between Dheeraj and Rajji, claiming its inception during the previous Diwali.
Ketan challenges this assertion, noting their trip to Haridwar during that period, which leaves Narmada momentarily without a response. Rajji then interjects, amending the timeline to two years prior and affectionately referring to Dheeraj as “Dheeru baby.” Dheeraj, while initially surprised, reciprocates the endearment and encourages both Rajji and Narmada to retire for the evening to avoid developing dark circles under their eyes, at which point they depart. Ketan and Satya then exchange remarks concerning Dheeraj and Rajji’s purported relationship before everyone retires for the night.
During the night, Rajji experienced distress, recalling Vishwa’s shooting of Dheeraj and Bhanu’s condition. Bhanu contacted Rajji, requesting an immediate meeting. Rajji exited her location but concealed herself upon hearing a noise. Mahadev emerged from his room, approached the sleeping Dheeraj, and reflected on prior events. He then affectionately touched Dheeraj, questioning whether to attribute the circumstances to the situation or fate, as he had been unable to express his affection. He sought Dheeraj’s forgiveness and kissed his forehead. His tears fell on Dheeraj’s hand, causing Dheeraj to stir. Noticing this, Mahadev retreated indoors. Rajji, observing these events from her concealed position, became emotional and subsequently departed.
Upon awakening, Dheeraj observed a tear on his hand, which he interpreted as a manifestation of Mahadev’s affection and concern, and subsequently informed Ketan. Ketan expressed contentment, noting that while Mahadev may be displeased, his love remains constant, and acknowledged their role in causing Mahadev’s distress. Both individuals then returned to sleep. Concurrently, Rajji met with Bhanu and offered an apology for her inability to overcome Mahadev’s family. Bhanu assured her that she was not upset and advised Rajji against emulating Vishwa’s imprudence, commending her for promptly transporting Dheeraj to the hospital. She further suggested that Rajji prioritize gaining Vidya’s trust before seeking Mahadev’s.
Bhanu implores Rajji to remember the two and a half decades of suffering she has experienced due to Mahadev and his family. She further states that Yash informed her of Rajji’s shifting allegiance, a sentiment she initially shared, but now recognizes Rajji as her daughter, who harbors similar resentment towards Mahadev’s family. Subsequently, she attempts to persuade Rajji to exact retribution upon Mahadev’s family on her behalf. Upon returning home, Rajji experiences increased agitation as she reflects upon the care and affection she has received from Mahadev’s family.
The following day, Mahadev pursues Vishwa to his gymnasium, where he initiates an assault. He engages in a confrontation with Vishwa’s associates, subsequently securing Vishwa to the hood of his vehicle and driving at high speed. Vishwa implores Mahadev for release, promising to refrain from repeating his actions. Mahadev arrives home and summons Yash. Both families emerge, with the exception of Bhanu. Mahadev issues a stern warning to the Bajpai family regarding the repercussions should they attempt to harm his family again. He further advises Yash to ensure Vishwa receives proper guidance, emphasizing the potential for incarceration or demise. Dheeraj and Mahadev exchange glances. Mahadev offers Dheeraj a reassuring pat and proceeds towards his residence, but Bhanu intervenes, instructing Mahadev to cease lecturing them on upbringing, seemingly unaware of the unfolding events within his household. She then discloses Ashish’s romantic involvement, which profoundly shocks Mahadev.
Precap: Rajji and Dheeraj are engaged in a disagreement. Bhanu counsels Yash to exercise restraint, emphasizing that Vishwa’s actions were not premeditated and urging him to place his trust in her judgment, as she possesses a clear understanding of the situation. Later that evening, Rajji receives a phone call that causes her confusion.
Our take: This episode was truly a treat to watch! Mahadev put aside his anger towards Dheeraj and stood up for his son, changing our view of him as a strict father. Dheeraj is finally happy knowing his father loves him. Bhanu, however, should be ashamed of using Rajji for her own benefit, and Rajji needs to realize she’s being manipulated.
